Position Overview:

As the Technology Manager, you’ll lead our client’s Sealing Solutions business unit, built to resist industry’s harshest chemicals and most extreme temperatures. Applications span key markets including Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Semiconductor, Industrial and Life Sciences. This pivotal role involves directing a seasoned team of Scientists, Research Engineers, and Technicians.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary target range between $170-190K
  • Annual bonus target of 25%.
  • 20 days of PTO.

Primary Position Requirement:

Please Note: Our client does not sponsor employment visas (e.g., H-1B visa status).

    • PhD in Material Sciences, Chemistry, or related science/engineering discipline.
    • Demonstrated expertise in developing elastomeric compounds within the polymer field. Similar technical experience related to polymer science may be considered, especially if coupled with development of complex formulations.
    • Minimum of 2 years of direct managerial experience, leading a team of polymer scientists, engineers, and technicians.
    • Experience developing products for applications within regulated markets highly preferred (ideally Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Semiconductor, Industrial and Life Sciences).
    • Strong track record as a technical leader in a manufacturing setting, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders such as Product Managers, Applications Managers, and Manufacturing Operations leaders to bring profitable products to market.
    • Demonstrated success in guiding a product from conception to launch, including client collaboration, development oversight, quality assurance, and achieving profitable outcomes.
    • Flexibility to travel up to 25% (typically 10-25%) domestically and internationally.
