The Role:
As Quality Manager, you’ll lead a dynamic team of 9 Quality Engineers and Inspectors across 5 U.S. locations. You will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the company’s Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry standards like AS9100, and supporting the organization’s mission to deliver superior products to customers.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Engineering, and customers, to drive quality improvements, maintain certifications, and oversee audits. This role reports to the Director of Operations and is crucial in supporting the company’s growth and keeping its reputation for excellence.

Compensation:
- Salary: Base salary $120-125k.
- Variable Compensation: 10% Annual Incentive Program target.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 9 Quality Engineers and Inspectors across multiple sites, driving quality initiatives and ensuring compliance with QMS standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
- Monitor and enhance the quality of internally or externally manufactured, fabricated, assembled, serviced, and imported/exported products.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and control processes to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring prompt resolution of non-conformances and continuous improvement.
- Manage and coordinate quality programs for all product and service-related contracts and projects.
- Support quality-related certifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Primary Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field preferred
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Quality focused role in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Ideally Aerospace experience, but open to other regulated industries.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Quality Leadership role. Leadership spanning a multi-site quality team is preferred.
- Quality Management Systems: Experience leading internal/external audits (ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485, or similar) is required. Experience with AS9100 audits is preferred.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 15% of the time (primarily domestic to support team of reports, vendors, and customers).
