Client and Position Summary:

Compensation:
- Competitive base salary starting at $170,000 up to $190,000 annually.
- Annual bonus eligibility 35% of base salary plus LTI eligibility 20% of base.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the global sourcing strategy for direct and indirect procurement that supports the business value chain goals and objectives while meeting quality targets at the lowest total cost and supporting our business continuity plans (supply chain reliability/resiliency).
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and issues, pricing fluctuations, new suppliers, cost-saving opportunities, etc., to inform global business and sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with the global business teams and support cross-functional teams, e.g., operations, sales, R&D, quality, engineering, and finance, to understand their requirements and incorporate them into sourcing strategies.
- Lead strategic category management vision and activities, including cost analyses, enabling purchase strategies, managing purchasing contracts, developing supplier selection and evaluation criteria and processes, consolidating supply sources, developing and overseeing supply outsourcing processes, group buying, LTAs, rebate programs, and developing sourcing plans.
- Leads and directs Supplier management activities, including developing Supplier segmentation and management tactics and guidelines and monitoring cross-functional stakeholder interactions with suppliers to drive consistent messaging and strategy.
- Lead the supplier quality vision and strategy for developing and overseeing the Supplier evaluation processes, Supplier notifications of change, coordination of supplier audits, and partnering with poor-performing suppliers to investigate root causes and improve performance.
- Align global functional resources and role objectives to align Procurement strategy with business and corporate strategies.
- Analysis of business requirements and supplier capabilities to achieve the lowest total cost of effective ownership, consistent with performance, reliability, quality, and sustainability requirements.
- Oversee the management of carriers, claims, global logistics strategy, and execution—partner with business units' commercial and planning teams to optimize the international movement of our products.
- Partner with the Integrated Business Team (IBP) manager to implement the IBP process (S&OP, demand and supply planning, and inventory optimization) across the supply chain organization.
- Proactively mine Supplier base for value-added ideas and new business opportunities and effectively communicate these ideas across the global matrix.
- Develop procedures (and standardization) for strategic sourcing and procurement across all business units.
- Ownership of end-to-end digitalization of the Supply Chain aimed to improve productivity, efficiency, and data management.
- Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate supply chain performance and identify gaps that would prevent reaching the desired levels of service and efficiency.
- Drive adoption of vendor self-service application (Jaggaer), enabling secure and timely supplier collaboration and best-in-class supplier management.
Primary Position Requirement:

- A bachelor's degree in a technical or related field is required. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing and procurement leadership roles required.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing global sourcing strategies, driving cost savings, and managing supplier relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of the elastomer, thermoplastic, and composite industry is strongly preferred (adjacent market experience such as Chemical may substitute), including market dynamics, suppliers, pricing models, and regulatory frameworks.
- SAP S4HANA experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing global sourcing strategies, driving cost savings, and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, market research, and financial modeling.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and cultures.
- Ability to translate business needs into strategic sourcing plans and execution.
- Proven ability to lead and drive transformational change.
- Ability to take direction from corporate management and work effectively in a global matrix needed.
- Willingness to travel 20-30% domestically and internationally (primarily to support supplier visits and team building).
