Michael’s top areas of expertise include mid to C-level leadership and hard-to-fill technical positions. His primary market focus is in Aerospace & Defense and Advanced Materials (across multiple industries).

Within A&D, he has worked extensively with Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 companies designing and manufacturing products for commercial and military airborne applications, from the component level to complex flight and mission critical systems. He has also worked heavily within the MRO and Aviation supply chain segments of the A&D Market.

Within Advanced Materials, his area of expertise lays with clients designing/manufacturing high performance non-metallic composites, thermoplastics and elastomers, as well as clients who build complex tooling solutions and manufacturing equipment.

His client base within Advanced Materials covers multiple market segments, most of which are highly regulated (Aerospace/Defense, Energy, Semiconductor, Life Sciences) as well as other market segments including Industrial and Sporting.

Michael acts as the primary client point of contact for AIJSearch to define project goals and timelines, and works directly with clients as his team moves candidates through the process.

Prior to joining AIJ, Carin worked in the recruiting industry on both the corporate and agency side.

Her areas of focus include identifying and qualifying many of the key people we introduce to our clients. She masterfully applies her expertise in data analysis to help companies find the best candidates
for the job.

Madison Uffelman

Senior Researcher

Madison’s expertise is in creating, driving and managing the candidate research and sourcing strategy for each executive search. She works with other members of the AIJSearch team to continually develop recruiting research, utilizing publicly available, subscription-based, and proprietary sources.

She also enjoys sharing her knowledge of industries
and markets with the client’s team to improve the
research process.
